The ARN, or Acquirer Reference Number, is a unique banking code used to track a refund made by credit or debit card.

When you receive a refund after a canceled order or a dispute on AliExpress, this code is automatically generated. It helps to locate the refund within the banking system, even if it doesn’t yet appear on your bank statement.

In case of delay, especially if more than 20 business days have passed without the money appearing in your account, you can request the ARN:

Once you’ve obtained the ARN, share it with the customer service of your bank. This number allows your bank advisor to trace the refund, even if it’s still being processed through interbank systems.

Note: The ARN is only applicable for refunds made via credit or debit card. If you paid using another method (PayPal, AliExpress Wallet…), this number will not be generated.
