The ability to modify order information depends on its current status. Here are the possible scenarios:

1. You haven’t placed the order yet

In this case, go to your profile, then to the “Shipping Addresses” section. Edit or add the address you want to use. Don’t forget to set it as your default address for future orders.

2. Order created but not paid

You can still edit certain details directly from the My Orders page or from the order details. Here’s what can be changed:

  • Recipient’s name
  • Phone number
  • Detailed address (street, building, floor, etc.)

Changing the country, city, or postal code is not allowed. If these are incorrect, it’s better to cancel the order before paying and create a new one.

3. Order paid but not yet shipped

You can no longer edit the address yourself. You have two options:

  1. Contact the seller via AliExpress messaging and ask them to manually update the address before shipping.
  2. Or cancel the order quickly and place a new one with the correct information.

Don’t wait too long: once the seller ships the package, it’s too late for any changes.

4. Order already shipped

Once the order has been shipped, the address can no longer be modified. You can still contact the seller to see if they can intervene, but in most cases, the parcel is already with the carrier.

If the address is incorrect, the package may be returned to the sender or delivered to the wrong address. In that case, open a dispute as soon as possible if the package does not arrive.

New feature being rolled out

AliExpress is currently testing an automatic address editing feature directly from your account, even after payment. It’s not available to everyone yet, but you can check your order page to see if the “Edit Address” option appears. If it does, use it before the order is shipped.
